You have a right to do as you please, Victor. That's not the question. My point is that one situation(his divorce) has nothing to do with his opinions or demeanor after the fact. To say you have sympathy with him at one point and then withdraw it on the basis of a video that has nothing to with the situation doesn't make sense to me. I'm not even saying you *have* to have sympathy in the first place, BTW.

My video, you'll notice does not actually argue AGAINST GTA being a bad influence. I just got pissed off at his logic and his arrogance.

With that being said I still doubt video games play a role in that. The worse that happens is that one is desensitized, but trust me American tv has already done that waay before GTA came out. You have television in America that is extremely violent. Same with movies. Yet the first thing to get blamed is a video game. I'm tired of people's lack of observational skills towards the society in which they live in. With that being said. Crazy people will always exist.

the kids that do that shit have been picked on, and beaten up on, and socially ostracized, and their parents don't help them because they to went to highschool and the picked on the geek, and they watched 80s films that made fun of the so called geek. Social exclusion causes huge problems.

Not trying to bust your nuts on this, Victor. But even if he is an arrogant SOB, didn't you know that before you were aware of his situation? The question remains and I'll amend, what difference does it make if someone has 'x' position or displays 'y' personality trait? Either they are deserving of sympathy or not, and it should apply equally to all regardless of their opinions/traits. Is the pathos of JFK777's situation changed based on who he is or is it consistent?
